Dear Scott,

I am rather tardy in sending you this note to tell you how very happy we were with your tent and "all the fixins" which you provided for our Oktoberfest on October 29. It was a wonderful event - God blessing us with good weather sandwiched in between many days of heavy rain - and your beautiful tent insured that the party would be especially nice. I have enclosed a picture of it for your use in any way you deem appropriate.

Let's not give all the credit to the tent itself, though. It was you who came to our home in the middle of Katrina's deluge and walked the property to select the proper area to place the tent. It was you who arrived early on a chilly Friday morning and single handedly and efficiently erected the structure after carefully working with me to choose just the right positioning. It was you who patiently explained to us all the workings of the heaters and lighting. And finally it was you who was on the site bright and early Sunday morning to take the dream away. (Maybe that was the only downer in the whole affair - we wanted that tent to be there forever!)

Scott, as you and your wife look forward to spending your first Christmas with Lance, please accept our best wishes for the holidays and our grattitude for you excellent and professional contribution to our happy day. Dear Scott,

Our Sixth Annual Robert Shaker Golf Memorial was a huge success thanks to the support of friends and family like you! We are proud to announce that we have raised over $65,000 to date for the American Cancer Society in memory of our dear Bob.

It was another wonderful day with 168 golfers participating. We were very pleased with the new golf course and the shotgun start. All 18 holes were decorated with our many hole sponsors from friends, family and vendors. Our raffle, shot hole and putting tournament were blessed with many volunteers. Without them, this outing would not be as enjoyable. Mark your calendar for next years Robert Shaker Memorial which is scheduled for Saturday, June 17th, 2006 at Creekwood Golf Course in Columbia Station.

We are deeply honored that the community which Bob loved so much continues to honor him in so many ways. On behalf of the Shaker family, thank ou so much for your contribution.

I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work for the Logan party. You really went above and beyond with your service. Lisa and Andrew said you took lights off the tent and even broke down tables! Wow - maybe you should add "morning after" clean up to your brochure!
